Blueberry Vanilla Matcha Latte

Ingredients:
- 100 g fresh blueberries
- 1-2 bamboo spoons (chashaku) matcha
- 50 ml hot water
- 200 ml milk of your choice (e.g. cow's milk, almond milk, oat milk)
- 1-2 tsp vanilla syrup
- Ice cubes
Preparation:
1. Puree blueberries:
- Wash the fresh blueberries thoroughly.
- Puree the blueberries with a blender or hand blender until smooth.
- Optional: Strain the blueberry puree through a fine sieve to remove the seeds.
2. Prepare Matcha:
- Put 1-2 bamboo spoons of matcha into a bowl.
- Heat 50 ml of water to about 80°C (not boiling) and pour it over the matcha.
- Whisk the matcha with a bamboo whisk (chasen) until it reaches a fine, foamy consistency.
3. Prepare the drink:
- Fill a glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the blueberry puree over the ice cubes.
- Add the vanilla syrup and stir well.
- Pour the foamed matcha over the blueberry puree.
- Fill the glass with the milk and stir gently to slightly combine the layers.
4. Serve and enjoy:
- Garnish the drink as desired with a few fresh blueberries or a pinch of matcha powder.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
