Matcha Banana Bread
Who doesn't love a delicious piece of banana bread with a hot cup of tea?
This delicious ''cake'' is perfect for breakfast, dessert or as a snack.
The matcha balances the taste of the bananas pleasantly and gives it that certain something.
Ingredients
- 4 overripe bananas (approx. 390 g without peel)
- 1 ripe banana
- 140 ml plant drink
- 100 ml rapeseed oil
- 70 g agave syrup
- 380 g flour
- Matcha
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 °C.
- Coat the baking pan thinly with oil or and preferably line it with baking paper
- Peel the bananas and mash them into a puree in a bowl.
- Then mix the wet ingredients (140 ml plant drink, 100 ml rapeseed oil and 70 g agave syrup) with the banana puree until a relatively homogeneous mass is formed.
- Mix the dry ingredients (380 g flour, 1.5 tsp baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, matcha) in a separate bowl.
- Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix well until smooth.
- Peel the ripe banana, cut it lengthwise and press it lightly into the dough with the cut side facing upwards.
- Bake the matcha banana bread on the middle rack for about 45 - 60 minutes. If the surface of the banana bread becomes too dark, simply cover the pan with aluminum foil halfway through the baking time.
- Then you can let the banana bread cool down and take it out of the mold
