Matcha Coconut Bars

This healthy bar is perfect as a snack between meals or as a pre-workout bar. Not only does it taste extremely good, it also gives you plenty of energy.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Matcha (equivalent to 1 measuring spoon)
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 100 g coconut flakes
  • 100 g oat flakes (fine)
  • 100 g chopped almonds
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

preparation

Step 1
First, roast the oat flakes, almonds and coconut flakes in the maple syrup and coconut oil until the ingredients are golden brown. Once that's done, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Step 2
Mash the banana with a fork until it forms a puree, add vanilla sugar, matcha and salt and mix well.
Mix the banana puree with the roasted ingredients, then add the baking powder and mix everything into a moist mass.

3. Step
Spread the mixture into a greased pan and press it down. The mixture should be about 1cm wide. Then put the bars in the oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool and cut into strips. The bars are now ready to enjoy.
