Matcha Tiramisu with Strawberries - The Summer Recipe
Did you know that you can use matcha instead of coffee for your tiramisu? The delicate green tea aroma provides a light and fresh taste. Refined with sweet strawberries, matcha tiramisu is the ideal dessert for summer.
This tiramisu is super delicious and, above all, very quick to prepare.
This recipe can also easily be made vegan by using plant-based mascarpone and whipped cream!
Ingredients
- 200g mascarpone
- 100 g icing sugar
- 2g matcha
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 ml whipped cream
- some hot water
- Ladyfingers
- Strawberries
preparation
First, put the mascarpone, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl and stir until smooth. Then whip the cream and fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
Mix the matcha powder with a little water to form a paste and beat until foamy. Then add a little more water. Mix a little matcha tea with the mascarpone cream.
Wash and clean the strawberries and cut them into thin slices.
Spread the ladyfingers in a suitable dish and soak them in matcha tea. Then spread the strawberry slices on top and then cover evenly with mascarpone cream. Spread another layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of strawberries and finally spread the mascarpone cream.
Use the remaining strawberry slices to garnish the tiramisu. Finally, dust with matcha powder.
Et voilà, the tiramisu is ready!
