Preparation of Cacao

Ceremonial Cacao (Traditional & Intensive)
💫 Deeply rooted & heart-opening

Ingredients (for 1 serving):

  • 30 g ceremonial raw cacao (high-quality, 100% pure)
  • 200 ml hot water (approx. 70-80°C, not boiling!)
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (for blood circulation)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (warming & harmonizing)
  • ¼ tsp cardamom (for a delicate aroma)
  • Optional: 1 tsp agave syrup or honey (if you want a slight sweetness)

Preparation:

Dissolve cocoa:

  • Heat the water to approximately 70-80°C (not boiling to preserve the nutrients).
  • Slowly stir in the cocoa and stir with a whisk (or wooden spoon) until it is completely dissolved.

Stir in spices:

  • Add cayenne pepper, cinnamon and cardamom.
  • If desired, stir in agave or honey.

Enjoy & feel:

  • Drink the cocoa consciously and slowly – ideally in a quiet environment, perhaps with a little intention or meditation.

✨ Tip: Traditionally, the cacao is not stirred with a spoon, but by consciously drinking and gently circling the cup.

Gentle Morning Cacao (Creamy & Mild):
🌞 Energizing & soothing

Ingredients (for 1 serving)

  • 10-15 g ceremonial cacao
  • 200 ml oat or almond milk
  • 1 date (pitted)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp cardamom

Preparation:

Heat milk & melt cocoa:

  • Heat the plant milk to approx. 70°C (do not boil).
  • Stir in the cocoa and mix well until it has melted.

Mix for creaminess:

  • Blend the warm cocoa milk together with the date in a blender until creamy.

Refine:

  • Pour the cocoa into a cup and sprinkle with cinnamon and cardamom.

✨ Tip: If you like it even creamier, you can use a milk frother!
