Matcha Kissed Berries 🍓
Ingredients (for approx. 15–20 pieces):
-
200 g white chocolate (good quality)
-
2 tsp matcha powder
-
15–20 fresh strawberries (with greens, if possible)
-
Optional: some coconut oil (approx. 1 tsp, for a smoother consistency)
-
Optional: Toppings such as pistachios, coconut flakes
Preparation:
-
Wash and dry strawberries.
Important: They must be completely dry so that the chocolate sticks well. -
Melt chocolate.
Roughly chop the white chocolate and melt it over a double boiler. Optionally, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil for a better consistency. -
Stir in matcha.
Once the chocolate has melted, sift in the matcha powder and mix well until a uniform greenish color is achieved. -
Dip strawberries.
Hold each strawberry by the green end and dip half or all of it into the matcha chocolate. Let it drain slightly. -
Optional decoration.
Sprinkle with toppings immediately after dipping (e.g. pistachios, strawberry crunch, coconut flakes). -
Let it harden.
Place strawberries on baking paper and refrigerate for about 15 minutes until the chocolate is firm.
